There is a lot that has to be taken into consideration when moving your plant. I particularly like that the article recommends holding a meeting with all the department heads. That way you can properly delegate tasks and prepare all of the departments for the move at once.

I agree with what you said about considering the experience of the staff. It makes sense that having them moving expensive equipment could be a big job and require a well-trained staff. Asking how often they train people sounds like a good way to be sure the company understands how important it is to deliver quality service.
