It seems like dimensions are very important when transporting materials. We're planning on moving across the country this upcoming year. It will probably be a good idea to rent a truck that could help me to transport all of my belongings.

I'm thinking about moving soon. My fiance and I have a lot of stuff, and I'm not quite sure if we can fit it all in our home when we first move in. We have been thinking a lot about just renting out a storage unit. We will be sure to use your formula to determine the size of our unit.

I would definitely aim for the larger size. It is frustrating and time consuming to be unpacking and realize that you need a bigger unit. It is much easier to get something bigger, than you can add if you need to.

Great advice on figuring out what size of storage units to look at. Hopefully I can find one that will fit all my stuff. I am sure if I organize my things well, a moderately sized one will work.

I like the idea of calculating the size into volume, it seems like this is the best way to find the right sized storage unit. It seems like it's probably better to get a size a bit larger than needed. I would imagine that you'd want some space to move around and find things periodically. I'm just glad that there are self storage places available, it seems like we're always running out of room for storage in the garage.
